Pamela Sunshine Earth Run Show at Ambleside Park, North Van

The Earth Run North Shore is happening on Sunday April 24th
I will be singing songs from Growing UP Green at 11:10 just before the Kids Easter Egg Hunt. It is the perfect place to be sharing my upbeat songs on an environmental theme.
This will be a great day for getting out and joining with others to improve community and celebrate Earth Day and Easter, all at once.

The Earth Run Foundation is a charitable organization with a mandate to bring people together to...ward building a sustainable future. By engaging the private and public sector, we raise awareness and funding for local environmental organizations.

Through funding local initiatives, we help people improve the quality of life in their communities and for all residents on the planet. Cities around the world big or small can host an Earth Run by organizing a 5 or 10K community run/walk.

Earth Run's core values centre on bringing people together to create awareness and support for local environmental initiatives that help:

* build green communities
* protect wilderness environments
* protect wildlife
* promote sustainable lifestyles

So come on out and have a great time in Ambleside Park. Enjoy the beauty of the North Shore.

Looking forward to a Day of Stories and Songs

Hello
I am so happy today as I get to share stories and songs in two different Earth Day Celebrations.
This is what I love to do most in my life.

There is a Storytelling Tent in Memorial Peace Park in Maple Ridge for today's Celebrate Earth Day Event hosted by the CEED Centre. Jack Emberly and Dennis LeClerc will also be telling stories there.
I am on first things at 10:00 AM as I am then driving into Vancouver for the Evergreen Earth Day Event.

They too have a tent set up for music etc and I will be singing songs from my Growing Up Green CD there at 1:15. This is such an honour for me and I am so grateful to these organizations for all the hard work they put in to create these events for their communities.

I hope to meet lots of new friend in Vancouver and connect with many of my old Maple Ridge friends too. Happy Earth Day to all.

Pamela Sunshine telling stories for Earth Day in Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows

Come celebrate Earth Day in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows!
I am honoured to be telling stories at the Storytelling Tent at this years Earth Day event in my old home town.  I will be telling my favourite tales of wonder and folk tales interspersed with a couple of songs from my Growing Up Green CD.

Celebrate Earth Day is a free community festival to celebrate and acknowledge the earth and our environment. This is a family oriented festival that takes place at the Maple Ridge Memorial Peace Park. There will be plenty of performances, activities, exhibits and a silent auction.

This year's theme is "The True Cost of Stuff". They will be exploring the hidden costs of different products, so come find out how much your stuff really costs!

If you are interested in volunteering, registering as an exhibitor, or have any questions please contact the CEED Centre at info@ceedcentre.org or 604-463-2229
