This is a great family event held in Maple Ridge, B.C. This is the third year and I am privileged to be playing there again this year. Its all happening on Feb 25th in the heart of Maple Ridge.
I will have my basket of instruments with me and there will be lots of audience participation as usual.
Bundle up in your warm woolies, grab the whole family and head down to make a lantern and join the parade.

Everyone Joining in for Feliz Navidad at Burnaby Village Museum
I took my instruments along with me to Burnaby Village Museum over Christmas. I was lucky enough to perform there for four days.
It is a very relaxed place to bring your family as the audience can come and go. There is so much to see there, the blacksmith, the theatre, and the special attraction is the carousel. So much for everyone at Burnaby Village, as well as strolling performers and games to play.

Growing Up Green Featured on Mom Approved Tunes
Magic Puddle is excited to hear that Growing Up Green is the latest recommendation at a popular Parenting Blog.
All of the music featured at Mom-Approved Tunes has been given the thumbs up by moms (and dads, too!) who actually enjoy it just as much as their kids do. No more headaches ....... Because believe it or not, there is an abundance of good children’s music out there.
Here is what they had to say,
Ideal for ages: 2-10
Recommended by: Mom-Approved Tunes
Growing UP Green is full of upbeat, singable songs for kids based on environmental themes such as habitat, recycling, and nature. So you won’t be too surprised to find that the artist’s name is Pamela Sunshine, a former teacher turned singer/songwriter who has performed throughout England and Canada.
One reviewer wrote of the album, “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the whole world could listen to these sweet and simple tunes, take the message that each song contains, and put that message to use in their lives? It would make the world a better place.” We have to agree.

Preschool Radio is playing Pamela Sunshine
Exciting news for Magic Puddle. A new station has added music from the "Growing Up Green" CD to their playlist.
Preschool Radio was created "to give Moms, Dads and preschoolers something they can enjoy together (so they can)...sing...dance.. as a family."
We here at Magic Puddle are thrilled they included "Turn Off The Tap" in this weeks show.
We highly recommend this station to families looking for great music for their kids to listen too, the great music just keeps on coming. It is obvious that Preschool Radio's founder has created programming that is perfect for the under six set and those who love them.
Preschool Radio is made up of Lyn Micheals, a former morning show announcer who retired after 21 years in radio to raise a family. The Music Director (and frequent air staff member) is a true children's music expert, Lyn's "big girl" (now 6 years old), Ashe. And Lyn's former radio morning partner, Scotty Snipes, who has a brand new baby of his own, rounds out the team.
After looking around for a radio station that Lyn and Ashe could enjoy together, they discovered no one was playing music for preschoolers ...and Preschool Radio was born.
