Five Currant Buns, Finger Rhyme for Toddlers and Preschool

When I was teaching this was always a favourite with my students. We used to do ten current buns so we could have ten children standing at the front being buns, and then ten students sitting down would get a turn to go and pick a bun to take back to the carpet with them. So much fun.

This song is so melodic, but has that second verse that is so sad. Sometimes I leave it out when I sing with little ones. It is a song I often sing as a lullaby to my grandchildren. It's been a busy day here as I go through all my videos on my youtube channel and update them with title thumbnails and correct my links. I have been away from my channel for a while as I was occupied with building my new cob house on Mayne Island.
