Lantern Festival February 24th, 2012
I am so happy to be performing again at this years Lantern Festival at Haney Place in Maple Ridge. I get to do two sets, one of my childrens songs and one featuring my songs about the Fraser Valley.

The festival will bring a "bright spot in the dead of winter," according to the lantern festival's co-chair Sammy Nelligan. The free family-oriented event will include local dance groups, and as a new feature, Hmong dancers from northern China.

Pamela Sunshine at the BC Buds 7th Annual Spring Arts Fair
I am so happy to be performing at this years BC Buds 7th Annual Spring Arts Fair on May 21st and 22nd. It is held every spring long weekend at the Firehall Arts Centre.

As the Firehall Arts Centre website says:
" Nothing would be the same without spring in Vancouver or BC Buds. Each and every May long weekend for seven seasons this inventive arts fair showcases all that makes the west coast what it is - a vibrant, creative, driving force. Mark you calendars and take in dance, theatre, music, play readings and more!
BC BUDS allows established and emerging artists to present new and experimental work while giving audiences an opportunity to explore and experience the arts in informal and unorthodox settings.
Enjoy theatre, dance, music and inter-disciplinary arts making magic and mayhem with performances taking place in the Firehall Arts Centre's stairwells, courtyard, hallways and on bicycles, while other artists perform outdoors, on sidewalks and in vans."
I will be performing on the new Courtyard Deck Saturday May 21 @ 2:30-2:50pm & Sunday May 22 @ 2:30-2:50pm. It would be great to see you there.

Looking forward to a Day of Stories and Songs
Hello
I am so happy today as I get to share stories and songs in two different Earth Day Celebrations.
This is what I love to do most in my life.
There is a Storytelling Tent in Memorial Peace Park in Maple Ridge for today's Celebrate Earth Day Event hosted by the CEED Centre. Jack Emberly and Dennis LeClerc will also be telling stories there.
I am on first things at 10:00 AM as I am then driving into Vancouver for the Evergreen Earth Day Event.
They too have a tent set up for music etc and I will be singing songs from my Growing Up Green CD there at 1:15. This is such an honour for me and I am so grateful to these organizations for all the hard work they put in to create these events for their communities.
I hope to meet lots of new friend in Vancouver and connect with many of my old Maple Ridge friends too. Happy Earth Day to all.
